Add Categories

  1. Login to your Udo website admin
  2. Click on the Catalogue tab in the left menu.
  3. Under Catalogue tab, Click on Categories tab.
  4. To create a new category you can either: Duplicate an existing category or click on the  "New Category" button top left (Green)
    1. To Duplicate a category, Double click on an existing category to open
    2. Click on the "Save and Duplicate: button top right of screen (Blue)
    3. Update the category name, Summary, Titlebar and the information to the new category information.
    4. If you have an image for the category then you can drag the image from either your computer or from the media section into the "Linked Items" area. 
    5. Top add the category to the other category then click on "Categories" in the left menu under Products  and drag the category into the "Linked Items" area,
    6. Go live
    7. Check from front end
  5.  To create a new category click on the "New Category" button top left (Green) Hint: open existing category and follow.
    1. Fill out the fields available with your category information information.
    2. Check on an existing category to make sure you have filled in all the important fields.
    3. If you have an image for the category then you can drag the image from either your computer or from the media section into the "Linked Items" area. 
    4. Top add the product to the other category then click on "Categories" in the left menu under Products  and drag the category into the "Linked Items" area,
    5. Go live to  save
    6. Check from front end.
  6. Check on the front end to make sure everything is as you wanted.
